As a company organized under private law, Alcedis GmbH particularly is subject to the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz - BDSG), the German Teleservices Act (Telemediengesetz - TMG) and the German Telecommunications Act (Telekommunikationsgesetz - TKG).
Technical and organizational data protection measures
The protection of personal data which are processed and handled by systems of Alcedis GmbH is for us as a healthcare company, a special necessity and concern. Therefore we have implemented a comprehensive company-wide data protection and IT security concept. With the help of appropriate technical and organizational data protection measures, we ensure the protection and security of personal data as well as other critical business data stored in our systems. This also includes the protection of your personal data (such as your name, address or e-mail address) when you visit our website.
The internal structure of Alcedis GmbH is so organized, that only authorized people have access to personal data exclusively within the scope of operational tasks. All company employees are obliged to the data secrecy according to Section 5 German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz - BDSG). The building self and the premises are always locked and only accessible for employees if necessary. A lot of internal policies regulate the use of corporate resources and stored data. All computerized procedures including personal data, are documented in a procedure directory considering the technical and organizational data protection measures.
Our data protection officer supervises the proper use of personal data processes and advises the company on data protection issues.
Usage and transfer of personal data
The use of our website is generally possible without disclosing personal information. If we collect personal data, e.g. through the contact form, it is your free decision to provide us with this information. Your personal data are only used as part of the intended purpose and will not be transferred to third parties without your consent, except that there is a legal obligation or court decision or the transfer is necessary to defend or enforce legal rights. Generally, there is no transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
We collect, process and use your personal data only, if it is necessary to create, perform or terminate a legal obligation or an obligation similar to legal transaction. If you object to the storage of your personal data transmitted to us, we shall delete it immediately, unless the safekeeping is associated with any legal requirements or statutory regulations. We point to the fact, that data transmission via Internet may contain security vulnerabilities (e.g. in contact via our web form or when communicating by e-mail). A complete protection of data against access by unauthorized third parties is not possible.
